Idea Club workshops occur on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, open and free to neighbors, artists, writers, musicians, and performers who want to share their work, get expert feedback, collaborate on new ideas, and inspire each other to further their creative development while attracting unknown artists, especially those living on the east side of Indianapolis.  This week's artist, 317 gallerist RJ, will share his knowledge about abstract art-making. Rozell isn’t just an artist—he’s the co-owner and visionary behind Gallery 317, a space built to uplift Indianapolis creatives and bring the community together.  Join in the fun or just bring your own thing.

Step into a space where boundaries blur, ideas merge, and each piece tells a story only possible through the meeting of multiple voices. Throughout the evening, guests will also have the chance to join the creative process themselves. Bring your curiosity, pick up a brush, and add your touch to ongoing works in the gallery—an open, freeform collaboration inspired by the spontaneity of a jazz sit-in.
